About Us

Founded in 2006
Realigned in 2020

Since our founding over 15 years ago, we have had an exciting club history behind us. From the beginning, our stated goal was to promote German-Afghan relations. In 2020, we charted a new course that took us into an exciting new chapter with a fresh charter and new board. Today, our main focus is on empowering Afghan women and promoting equality. These issues are our top priority because women in Afghanistan are increasingly confronted with violence, discrimination and serious human rights violations, especially after the Taliban came to power. Special barriers to integration arise for women due to the refugee background, family structures and social role. We are therefore particularly committed to addressing these obstacles and helping the women affected to develop their potential and successfully integrate into society.

Our association pursues the following goals:

VISION: THIS IS HOW WE SEE THE FUTURE

Our vision strives for a society in which Afghans are aware of their rights and opportunities, recognize their full potential and have the chance to network, develop and successfully integrate into society. We want to create an integrative and inclusive environment in which women with refugee backgrounds in Germany in particular can raise their voices and actively participate in shaping their own destiny.

MISSION: THIS IS WHAT WE DO ACHIEVE IT

Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to Afghans in Germany and to provide them with the necessary resources and skills to sustainably promote their personal development, emancipation and integration into society. We strive to break the cycle of disadvantage by providing targeted education programs, building strong partnerships and raising awareness of the challenges Afghan women face.
Our goal is to open up new opportunities for Afghan women in Germany and support them in achieving their full potential, while at the same time promoting social integration and inclusion.
